Well, last week’s boring stalemate not-so-extravaganza Jose Mourinho masterclass at Stamford Bridge helped nobody. Spurs fans, Chelsea fans and most of all you lot. The only players that got any points were defenders or keepers with a clean sheet. I advised against you going that way. I was wrong, I apologise. So, here is my apology to never ever be wrong again for FPL Gameweek 11.*

That being said, lets take a look at who to take a punt with this week.
We call him, Olivier Goal-roud
Ah yes. You can’t not pick a man that scored 4 in his last game. Surely.
It might be harsh on Abraham who I have constantly been pushing for in people’s teams over the last few weeks. But, when a so called back up striker bags himself a perfect hattrick plus one in midweek, he starts at the weekend.
The Frenchman has only got 5 points all season but that is simply down to the lack of minutes he’s got. With Chelsea’s new firepower, any mixture of Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Zieych (maybe even N’Golo Kante) will help make Giroud’s job even easier.
What’s more, Goal-roud is only in 0.7% of teams, meaning he could be a difference maker if you’re looking to make up for a poor last round.
Christian Paulisick: USMNT Star
Chelsea’s poster boy. America’s shirt seller. Pick him for pity points because he’s not actually any good. Chelsea were drawn into paying over the odds for Paulisick and now fantasy managers will pay the price, right?
Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
Pulisic is back, he’s fit and he will be ready to go again, possibly from the start this weekend against Leeds. Getting the American for just 8.2m, maybe in place of Grealish who misses out this week for all managers, is a great price for someone who is only going to rise once he gets playing.
Once again, with only 7 points accumulated so far this season it’d be easy to turn away in pure disgust, but look past the numbers. Chelsea’s best player post-lockdown isn’t all of a sudden bad, he’s just a little bit injury prone. However, if he’s fully fit like Lampard said he is then Pulisic will be ready to explode.
9 goals and 8 assists last season and he hasn’t got started yet, even with his injuries so far this term I wouldn’t put it past Pulisic surpassing those stats this year. Get him before he’s gone.
Gameweek 11: Pick of the week
Not to be too boring, but it’s the Moroccan wizard again. Despite not having his best week against spurs, bringing in just 2 points, and with 5 points combined in his last 2 outings. It would have been easy to give up with Ziyech already. Don’t do that.
With the high-pressing, relentless and fearless Leeds hosting Frankie’s showtime Blues it could be a game won in transition. If Ziyech can evade Kalvin Phillips for a second and create that little bit of space then maybe he can get amongst the points once again.
The right winger ranks 23rd in the creative index even though his start at Chelsea has been delayed by injury. His unpredictable, arrogant characteristics make him the perfect candidate to bounce back and bring you budding managers a stack of points.*
