Emma Hayes’s side gained revenge on their London rivals to complete their first domestic quadruple. They completely crushed the Gunners in a dominant display in the re-arranged 2021 Women’s FA Cup Final as it finished Arsenal 0-3 Chelsea at Wembley.
Chelsea made one change after the emphatic victory over Birmingham. Ann-Katrin Berger started in goal with Millie Bright, Jess Carter and captain Magda Eriksson at the back. Erin Cuthbert and Guro Reiten were deployed at wingback, with Sophie Ingle and Melly Leupolz in the centre of the park. Jessie Fleming and Fran Kirby supported Sam Kerr in a potent attack.
Emma Hayes’s side started with intent and took the lead after just 3 minutes. Frida Maanum’s tackle on Kirby deflected to Kerr. The loose ricochet bounced off Jen Beattie and came back to the English attacker. One-on-one with Zinsberger, she finished confidently to make 1-0.Embed from Getty Images
Chelsea continued to attack and Zinsberger again was called into action to deny Kirby and Leupolz. Sam Kerr looked to double the lead as she took advantage of more indecision in the Arsenal side to burst clear. However, the Australian was unable to take advantage and could only clip her effort against the bar.
The defensive rearguard was hugely impressive too, as it denied any space to the fearsome front 3 of Katie McCabe, Beth Mead and Viv Miedema.
Arsenal came out fired up in the second half and controlled possession. Chelsea did have a half-chance to increase their lead, however, Kerr could only head Cuthbert’s cross at Zinsberger. Beth Mead also fired wide, before Jen Beattie looped an effort over from a corner. As the Gunners looked to carve their way back in, a fast break sealed the result.
Fran Kirby released Sam Kerr behind the Arsenal defence with a searching ball. Although Lotte Wubben-Moy tried to tighten the angle, Kerr saw the gap at the near post and drove a low effort past Zinsberger. The keeper should have done better with the chance, but she was helpless with next two.Embed from Getty Images
Kirby drove in from the right-wing, past three Arsenal defenders and curled a brilliant effort off the post. Then on the 77th minute, Leupolz once again sprang the offside trap, playing in Kerr. She powered down the right-wing before impudently lobbing Zinsbeger from just inside the box. The emphatic celebrations from Emma Hayes said it all, as the Blues secured another piece of silverware.Embed from Getty Images

Final Thoughts: Arsenal 0-3 Chelsea
The domestic quadruple is complete. A stunning year for Chelsea FC Women ends in style at Wembley. Sam Kerr’s brilliant finish summed up how far ahead the Blues were today as they gained revenge on Jonas Eidevall’s side. They’ll hope for a similarly impressive show midweek against Juventus.
